32 kW Biomass Pellet Boiler Installation using an ÖkoFEN Pellematic PES 32. This system was installed by CTS Renewables a year ago to heat two properties in Spilsby, Lincoln. The Okofen PES32 is ideal for properties with high heat demands and commercial applications and is certified for the domestic renewable heat incentive (RHI).

To minimise the space taken up by pellet storage the customer opted for the Flexilo Compact Suction Fed fabric bulk hopper system which enables a massive 7 tonnes of storage with a footprint of just 2/2.5m.

The Boiler was fitted into a utility room and the hopper installed into a separate external bulk store room and linked with 10m of underground vacuum hose. 

To maximise the renewable energy produced and reduce boiler use during the summer for hot water, the customer also had a 6kW Solar PV system using LG Neon 300 Solar Panels with Solaredge Inverter and Immersun Solar controlled immersion heater unit.

CTS Renewables are able to service and maintain Biomass Boilers from Grant, MCZ and Windhager, alongside Heat Pumps from Panasonic, Dimplex and Samsung and also sealed Solar Thermal Systems.

OkoFEN Pellematic PES 32 kW Biomass Boiler with Solar Thermal System installed in Westwoodside, Doncaster.

32 kW Biomass Pellet Boiler Installation using an ÖkoFEN Pellematic PES32. This system was fitted to heat a farmhouse and workshop with multiple heating zones and domestic hot water in Westwoodside, Lincolnshire.

The Boiler and 350 Litre cylinder were installed in an outbuilding which has a Workshop/Office attached, and then connected to the house with 16m of Underground Pre-Insulated Uponor pipework. Installed on the roof of the outbuilding is a 3 flat plate panel Dimplex Solar Thermal system.

Using the OkoFEN smart IO Pelletronic control system the Boiler is able to fully manage three heating zones, a Solar Thermal Pump Station, Domestic Hot Water Cylinder and a Secondary Return hot water pump.
