45 kW Biomass Pellet Boiler Installation using an ÖkoFEN Pellematic Maxi PES 45. This system was fitted to heat a large manor house in Normanton on Trent, Newark, Nottinghamshire. The Okofen PES45 is ideal for properties with high heat demands and commercial applications and is certified for the domestic renewable heat incentive (RHI).

To minimise the space taken up by pellet storage the customer opted for the Flexilo Compact Suction Fed fabric bulk hopper system which enables a massive 8 tonnes of storage with a footprint of just 2.5/2.5m.

A complicated installation which involved listed building consent and the boiler and hopper being installed in an outbuilding linked to the main house with 30m of underground insulated pipework.

This installation also benefited from Okofen's Flowtronic weather compensation and control system, thus significantly reducing overall pellet consumption.
